With approval from your PT, one of the following may be just the class for you. Classes are held at The Integrated Healing Center, ideally positioned beneath of Hayes Physical Therapy, on the second level of the very same building.Yoga is a practice which not only stands to support continued healing and maintenance of your physical body, but also your overall well-being.Yoga and Balance for Bone HealthA safe, gentle yet challenging, fun class for anyone living with Osteopenia or Osteoporosis. Class will include standing yoga postures and balance work, as well as kneeling, practice safely getting on/off of the floor, and even lying down postures, too. The only prerequisite? You must be someone who wants to maintain your bone health for as long as possible.Stay Tuned for 2022 Group Classes!Standard hatha yoga poses will be offered. Individualized modification(s) will enable the experience to be unique for each and every body in the room. The poses will be gentle, and focused upon breath. There will be an invitation to find the posture that works for you, then breathe, stay, and feel. No quick movements. Rather, breath and softening. As long as you can breathe with purpose, then you can do yoga!
