Erica DeLuca

Erica DeLuca, PT, DPT, Vestibular/Balance, McKenzie Neck & Back, ART, RBA Level 1 Spine

Erica is a licensed physical therapist who received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from The University of Maryland, Baltimore graduating in May, 2017. She worked in a private practice in Maryland for over 3 years after graduating where she used vestibular rehabilitation for the treatment of dizziness and imbalance and the McKenzie Method for the lumbar and cervical spine. She joined Hayes physical therapy in March 2021 and has brought these exciting components of treatment to the practice!

She also enjoys all aspects of orthopedics and implements the Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) to address dysfunctional movement patterns with her patients. Erica is driven to help motivate all patients achieve their goals by utilizing manual (hands on) techniques, therapeutic exercise, and patient education to help her patients understand their injury, prevent re-occurrence, and maximize their functional potential.

Erica holds certifications in ART (Active Release Techniques) for the Spine (neck, mid-back, low back and sacrum) as well as Level 1 Certification in the Restriction Based Approach (RBA) for the Low Back, Hips and Pelvis. ART is a quick and effective way to address restrictions in the soft tissue, mainly the fascia, muscles and tendons with an indirect benefit to the joint system. The RBA approach resets the joints and ligaments of the body through mobilization and manipulation to quickly help you return to optimal alignment followed by targeted exercises to augment these gains!

In her spare time, Erica takes group exercise classes including barre and spin, she enjoys being outdoors on her stand up paddle, and spending time with family and friends.
