Michael graduated from the University of the Sciences Doctorate of Physical Therapy Program in May 2021. He has gained clinical experience in sports and general orthopedic settings that included rehabilitation with athletes, concussion and vestibular patients, as well as a variety of other general orthopedic conditions. Michael has utilized evaluative techniques such as the Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) to supplement his holistic approach to patient care and is interested in pursuing this certification in the future. He is also certified in the Clinical Management of the Fitness Athlete (Cert-CMFA) and is a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) which gives him further insight on foundational movement dysfunction and performance-based integrated exercise prescription derived from working with strength sports including as powerlifting, olympic weightlifting, and CrossFit. In conjunction with his manual skills including joint mobilizations and soft tissue work, he aims to bridge the gap between performance and wellness by not only physically getting his patients back to doing what they love, but also by encouraging a more active lifestyle and a fitness-forward mindset.
